The internet is useful for all sorts of things from work to relaxation and research. The majority of people in the more wealthy countries of the world have computers and internet connections at home and because over time the technology becomes faster and more capable we are able to do more with it. The better the technology the cheaper computers and the internet become, allowing us all to access all sorts of online resources. The internet is a powerful research tool, and much more. We can all do shopping and surfing and research businesses or schools online, we can even perform background checks on people we are suspicious about, maybe thinking they are scammers, they can even run reverse phone lookup online to discover who has phoned them. Of course the danger is we become slobs and never leave the house!
