Lincoln City Resorts continues to move into the modern world

On September 06, 2010 in Uncategorized

Some new developments at a small number of Lincoln City lodgings are reshaping the hotel landscape of the central Oregon coast town. The Sea Gypsy has migrated from a motel to a condo rental operation, one hotel has changed ownership as well as name, and a different has acquired a high-profile promoting partner from Los Angeles.

The Lee Group of Lincoln City (keepers of Coho Oceanfront Lodge, a Lincoln city hotel) lately snagged the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel on Lincoln City’s Highway 101, along with the name is now Inn at Wecoma. Rob Lee, Director of Operations for the Coho and Wecoma, said the place will encounter a couple of changes and additions, such as in-room DVD players, a gift shop, business center, and they’ll have numerous resources for folks to appear through to prepare for their adventures.

“We also are going to be decorating the lobby that has a throwback for the ‘miracle miles’ era and past Lincoln city pictures and photos,” Lee explained. “All that with a slight modern twist so folks of all generations will uncover it appealing.”

Meanwhile, their Coho Oceanfront Lodge has partnered with Los Angeles promoting and sales firm K Resorts.

Lee mentioned K Hotels will fill a very much needed revenue position that would otherwise be financially prohibitive regarding their hotel, based on the revenue efforts required to stay in front of travel agents and buyers not in Oregon’s backyard.

“The Coho Oceanfront Lodge makes an great addition to our number of hand-picked resorts,” explained Lara Weiss, Managing Director, K Hotels. “It’s such a distinctive leisure property, and is certain to attract new clients, as K Hotels continues to expand our growing brand of hospitality expertise and service.”

Recently renovated by renowned interior designers Ankrom Moisan Architects, the Coho is also committed to green practices. For much more data about the The Coho Oceanfront Lodge, see www.thecoholodge.com.
