Along with low competition make sure your keyword has a higher search number too. The number of customers looking that keyword and the amount of web sites competing for those buyers should be at least 1500 searches a month and under 20,000 competition. Any keyword you find that shows both of these standards should be a great keyword for you to use. Cut and paste any good keywords you find into your Notepad file. Occasionally these keywords are difficult to find, even though it is awfully exciting when you find them because now you have something not everyone else knows about. Keywords that are rather more specifically aimed at what you’re selling are called long-tail keywords. Long-tail keywords are keywords that are way more than 1 or 2 words and even as long as a complete sentence typically describing precisely what the shopper is searching for.

Imagine the traffic and sales statistics if you are on top of the search site results page and have these keywords that describe exactly what the buyer wants. Astounds the mind! You could be making money, hand over fist, in an exceedingly brief time with the best keyphrases.

Therefore do yourself a favor and teach yourself on keywords and whereabouts to find good ones then put them to some serious use and optimise your website with them. Bear one thing in mind though, don’t get smug even if you find a good keyword, searches and searchers change and you need to keep an eye on new keywords and then update your website as needed.
