Preparing The Surface Before Using Epoxy Paint

One of the best coating for your garage floor is epoxy paint. If you plan to buy new paint, take a brush and apply it to the floor, you will not get the epoxy coating you imagined. There are several steps you need to take to make this paint work its way with the concrete.
Cleaning of the surface you are going to work on is necessary, so you have to do it before you can use your epoxy floor paint. A lot of water will be needed for this task, some kind of cleaning solution and one brush. If you own a floor scrubber, your job will be much easier. The most important thing to look out for are those oily spots, because they will make trouble to the epoxy paint. You need to make sure there is absolutely no moisture on your garage flooring, after you are done with cleaning tasks. If you do not find any droplets of water under the plastic bag placed on a concrete floor, it means that you have a dry working surface.
Now that you prepared your concrete floors properly, you can start using your epoxy paint and make a great coating.
