Underfloor Heating For Luxury And Comfort

Underfloor heating is seen as being a bit of a luxury that is expensive and difficult to install. That may have been the case in the past but now you can buy kits and do most of the work yourself.
A popular area of the home to have underfloor heating is in the bathroom because as lovely and as practical as they are, tiles are cold on the feet. So tile underfloor heating is understandably popular and can be laid using cables or heating mats.
Another reason there has been a rise in popularity is because of the use of laminate flooring. It’s great for families but it’s not exactly cosy on the feet. The best option here is electric underfloor heating in the form of carbon film mats. These are easy and quick to lay and even with the special insulation laid underneath they hardly raise the floor level at all so there is minimum alteration to be made.
